MEET OUR NEW PASTOR!

The Rev. Darrell E. Taylor was born and raised in the City of Richmond VA, by his mother Dawn Davis and his grandparents Lemuel and Geraldine Wimbish. He was educated by the Richmond public school system. Upon completion of John Marshall High School he was CALLED to the ministry.

On June 15,1998 he was officially licensed to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ by the First Baptist Church Washington Park under Pastor Andre L. Wimbish. At First Baptist he served on various ministries. He was ordained on April 30th by the Fairfield Baptist Church. Where he has served as Youth and Assistant Pastor. Rev. Taylor is currently serving as the Sr. pastor of the Fairfield Baptist Church.

Rev. Taylor loves to help, encourage, and support the people of God reach their goals and potential. He has a certificate of completion of Bible Doctrine from the Faith Landmark Bible School and an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from Andersonville Seminary. He is currently enrolled in the Bachelor's program at Andersonville Seminary.

Rev. Taylor is married to the former Tyann Younger and out of this union God has blessed them with three unique, wonderful, and special gifts, Daemont, Destiny, and Darrell. Rev. Taylor lives by the scripture 2nd Tim. 1:7- For God has not given us a spirit of fear but one of power, of love and of a sound mind. He will preach to anyone, anywhere, and anytime; he is called with No Fear.
